Arguably the most consistent pop star 1986-2002. Every eligible single of hers during this time, minus Pleasure Principle at 14, hit top 10. She has two albums, Rhythm Nation and Janet, with 6 top 10s at least, and Rhythm w/ 7 top 5's – 4 of those #1. Her legacy is unmatched in many ways, but she is, at least in America, in the singles chart echelon of Madonna, Michael, Mariah, Whitney. She actually charts higher than Michael and Whitney on the full Hot 100 chart. Also, just amazing music. Still owning the stage into her late 50s.
