I thought they all sold out? Why start with 4 shows and add 6 when not selling them?

Adele played herself lmao

She really thought she was a bigger star than she is. You would've thought the lukewarm reception to 30 would've hinted at that for her

This is slander.. Easy on me is one of her biggest hits and a signature song for her.

Before the announcement the info about 10 dates leaked in german media. So they tried to generate more hype by announcing some dates, and then the rest.

I remember seing Gaga for 80 euros in Paris in 2010, fairly close to the stage, now when I see concert tickets being hundreds even thousands of dollars I can't stop thinking about how we all became cash cows. Concerts tickets DO NOT NEED to cost so ****ing much, it's pure greed from artists and labels

Adele thought she was a Taylor Swift :ladyhaha: Even Taylor isn't doing 10 shows in just 1 city.

Adele also planned  many many shows in Germany at ONE AND THE SAME place in Munich, TEN SHOWS. Everyone from Bavaria and Austria who can afford these prices, already will have a place in one of them. But fans from Spain won't be coming because additional prices arise.

This seems like a test: "How many shows can I do in 1 city until they are not sold out?"

If she did Barcelona, Milan, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, Copenhague, she could have 10 sold out shows.

The prices are crazy for what we're used to in Europe, my friend is going and he paid almost 400€ for each ticket and it isnt super close.

I really wish that they do not sell out and that she has to reduce the prices. Because if she does sell out probably others will raise prices too.
I’m a casual listener to Adele and wanted to go. But no won’t sell my liver.
And she does 10 shows in a huge venue in one place. So she has only little fixed fees that she has to generate with one ticket. So she could have been cheaper and think about her fans.

I always admired Adele but the pricing put me off. She is just greedy whilst she has enough already. She is not grateful she just wants more. Most people coming to the shows will not have that much money as she possesses.

I just checked the prices and it's so expensive, as others said. I paid less for the Chromatica Ball, and this one had a big production. Isn't Adele just standing on the stage or something?

Well no, her shows since the 25 tour have featured pretty theatrical stage designs and show elements. But even if they didn't value of a show is not defined by big flashy production and dancing. An artist can deliver a captivating performance without dancing and special effects. Some of the greatest performers in history are not known to dance and have huge theatrical production.

Her tickets are indeed too expensive yes, but if they were priced the same as Chromatica Ball, it'd still be worth just the same as Gaga's show.

Well yes, but only a big production could justify higher prices.

Or an intimate small venue. So it is more private and you may get to interact with Adele

FOUR HUNDRED USD STARTING PRICE??

Are they out of their damn minds??? And like someone else said she doesn't even have a giant production with crazy lighting cues, props, massive screens, runways, moving parts, costume changes, backup dancers, interludes, fog, confetti, pyrotechnics (as far as I know :laughga:)

Honestly that is mental. How they hell can they justify that?

A friend of mine was queuing online to snatch some tickets but only the expensive one's were left  (+600 euros per ticket). She wasn't willing to pay this much for a concert.

I guess many others are thinking the same and ended up not buying.

I haven't been to many concerts, but usually, the smaller and more intimate it gets, the cheaper it is. I get that a more famous artist would be more expensive, but not as much as if it was a big show.
