The fact that he immediately shifted to the idea that we will never have another election if Biden wins and this mirrors other apocalyptic rhetoric he’s used regarding being convicted/losing the election, I truly don’t believe it’s out of context. I don’t see how it could even be remotely related to the auto industry when he explicitly stated that, if he loses, the auto industry will be “the least of our problems” and that it will be a “bloodbath for the whole country.”

My point still stands, people on social media are taking that clip out of context and spreading it how you and others are with the purpose of making it seem like he’s discussing something else. We can do better than that as he’s done and said some terrible stuff. Like supporting an actual insurrection that was bad enough for his VP to completely disown him.

It's actually incredible how effortlessly manipulative he is. With that one statement he...

1) Gives a wink to his cult to pull another Jan 6th styled assault but fight harder this time, potentially even sparking riots across the country.

2) Trashes Biden and provides another doomsday prediction to instill fear into his braindead base.

3) He knew damn well the media would pick up on that specific word so now he can say he's being taken out of context which undercuts legitimate criticism he receives because "see, they were biased against me here!"

4) He gets the left and the media arguing amongst themselves over this whole thing which is honestly pointless and a waste of our time.

That’s what I was getting at before: if he *purposefully* used that language to evoke violence, I think that kind of undercuts the claim that it’s “taken out of context.”

Honestly I think you're both (all 3?) kinda right 'cause contextually and linguistically speaking, his comment is nothing but politically dramatic which is pretty normal for even more mundane politicians. So yeah, it's "taken out of context".

But you couldn't say anything to convince me he isn't inciting some level of violence with phrases like that because he's done that same crap for years

Another example is when he spoke about immigrant human traffickers as animals, and the media made it sound like he was calling all immigrants animals in general. Not defending any political side, I can't stand either
