A lot could've changed since then and I don't doubt that that was the information he was provided with at the time. Like, let's not start acting like he's just full of sh*t now and knows absolutely nothing when he's provided us info before. This fanbase has no problem consistently agreeing that Gaga’s team can be a mess, and that plans with her releases change often (not necessarily the fault of Gaga). With that being said, why do we have a hard time accepting the fact that we get a lot less “reliable” Gaga info because of this. The “reliable insiders” were probably given information that was correct, but has probably changed every five minutes since.

I said that the "reliable" insiders were probably given info that was once correct, but obviously plans can change; Blade said he was given that info in November. And we don't have a hard time "accepting the fact that we get a lot less 'reliable' Gaga info because of this". The fact that plans could be constantly shifting is the reason why insiders get stuff wrong. They're told the info at a very specific point in time, which isn't necessarily true months down the road. Same happened with ARTPOP I don’t think Interscope was upset about ARTPOP as some want to believe. It still was a successful album, not by Gaga standards, but by the general standard of the newfound streaming era. Is there evidence that Interscope wasn’t happy with ARTPOP? I know Gaga and Troy Carter had creative differences, but he himself said “she handles 95% of the creative side, and [I] 95% of the business side”. It’s clear the [Koons] ball dropped somewhere, and it’s very apparent Gaga held her side of the deal. After ARTPOP, Gaga released Cheek to Cheek, and Joanne, not the trajectory of someone pigeonholed by their label. She also re-signed with the label and has always said it’s been a good working relationship. Gaga works on her albums up until the deadline of when it needs turned in, after that, she’s hands off. Sneaky Oliver 21,240
I don’t think the label would refuse to release any Gaga related stuff at this point of her career, she has stated she has full control over her music before so I’m not concerned about that In the land of gods and monsters, I was an angel living in the Garden Of Eden

They can release whatever, but they can choose not to support it or give it a budget for marketing and videos. So yeah, they do care.
