Well, love her or not, Beyoncé always produces music of really high quality and style, way more so than most of her peers (Gaga included), and the influences are always researched thoroughly. She’s clearly very intelligent and a true perfectionist and visionary with excellent taste so I’m expecting to love this album and I’m not even a fan of country music.

I wasn't overly impressed by Texas Hold 'Em but 16 Carriages is stunning. And I kinda dig the album's name. It's tongue n cheek and not as grandiose as "Renaissance", and will be indicative of the album's vibe.

this really explains a LOT and makes me way more excited for the album now bc mama did RESEARCH for it it seems. So it def won’t be the country aesthetic pop album thing so many folks have done. Ms bey is set to really reclaim the genre. Love.

In theory I’m for this IF we have the quality of beats and raps we had on 4:44. Anything short of that, keep it. Jay does love a good blues/soul beat but the last the carters album was nice but nowhere near the caliber of lemonade, Renaissance, or 4:44. If it’s short of any of those I’d rather she keep it to a 3-act thing all her own. It’d be a shame for such an era to go out on such a mid note

The house/country/rock theory has been going on for over a year now, I don’t see where a Jay Z collab fits into that

If the collab thing is true (which I'd be here for but I'm still praying for the rock album) I think we'll be getting some dope instrumentals for sure. He's been on some new sh*t recently and it's a good sign. If you haven't heard the rework of Empire State of Mind he released, I recommend it!!

Renaissance stuff came in pretty low-key packaging, so maybe they won't notice. And if they do and have questions/problems? YOU GOT THIS 💜
