Nope. Not buying it.

It's one thing to Facetune because you want to make the photo look more attractive.

It's another thing entirely to structurally alter the image by superimposing other images and cloning separate parts.

In any case, I find it incredibly hard to believe that the Duchess of Cambridge would even edit a photo of herself and her kids, let alone actually alter one to that extent.

Spoiler

I detest conspiracy theories about The Royal Family. But this isn't a theory. Something is either really off, or her Press Secretary has taken up meth.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

On a serious note I don't see the point of hiding her being sick or, dead, as some people claim... Charles became king fairly recently and they didn't hide his cancer idk...

what was wrong with it? i’m confused

Major credible news sources like the AP and Reuters pulled the image from circulation and issued a “kill” notification for the story to other publications because they deemed the image altered and allegedly Kensington Palace refused to send them the image file of the original.

I think it's like some people say, they took a photoshoot and took best ones and put the different parts together. They probably wanted all the kids to be smiling or something

Kate is an avid photographer and has even shot Camilla for the cover of Country Life. I wouldn't put it past her to do this type of thing.

I just learned that she is a photographer from a friend. That changes everything.

Still, it's messy to release a photo like that when people already think you're dead.

It's probably as simple as the kids couldn't be properly controlled to pose exactly how the adults wanted. And then someone blinks/sneezes/moves and another one has to be taken. Photo editing was partly invented so you could take one photo and then edit out errors and inconsistencies. I'd totally forgotten that Kate does amateur photography. People put up the wrong version of a photo all the time, particularly if both images were very similar and/or with visual inaccuracies difficult to notice with the naked eye. It was reported at the time that Kate went into hospital that she would be out of action until Easter, so it's not like we're past that date. Then she'll appear again and this conspiracy theory will be forgotten...likely to be replaced with 'Kate's dead and now a clone is in her place.' :smh: As if someone can't recover after surgery in peace. It speaks to the modern condition of how everyone expects full access to celebrities 24/7 and if we don't, we assume something's happened to them or something we're not being told. People never demanded that of stars in a pre-internet and social media age.
