Gaga hosted a Clinuvel Pharmaceuticals event at her mansion last night

   Im not going to get super deep into their investors and chairmen that have been on FBIs most wanted list or had criminal investigations open on them. Or the details of their big “innovation” - a self tanner. Or that they used to be a cosmetics company named epitan. The fact that they haven’t been able to get FDA approval for their products despite having been in business since 1987. There’s plenty of articles about them and how they are suspicious going over all of this and more.

   The important part is the link to Gaga. Sean Parker is a majority investor for Clinuvel currently. Michael is the CEO of The Parker Group. Sean introduced Michael and Gaga when she performed at an event for The Parker Group.

   There’s reasons to look at her hosting a party at her literal house for such a thing with some level of scrutiny. You don’t have to be hateful or mean about it. But it’s not just the typical complaining and whining over nothing, this has more potential for ethical implications being involved just due to the nature of pharma companies in general.

i hesitate to say it’s the same as girlfriends becoming their bf’s bc it’s still in line with her values, but I think relationship to relationship the manifestation of those values seems to shift. Like I said, she never really did anything like this until dating Michael. She hardly called the BTW Foundation “philanthropy” despite it being that, didn’t talk about investments, etc. But we know those are his world.

You are right. However, if two people do not find common interests or values, a relationship will be short-lived. This does not mean that a person's different relationships will always have the same thing in common, rather than completely different things at first glance, especially if 15 years have passed.

Gaga's foundation is old and she has donated a lot in the past. She has a thousand (not doves but) project companies for her various incomes, although they are probably mostly managed by Bobby. We also know that she had smaller financial investments before (which is natural at her level), but she didn't talk about them. She also started Haus Labs in 2019, even before Michael. So it is not that she started dealing with completely new things with him, she is just dealing with them on a different level.

I don’t think that’s a possible judgement call to make tbh. Because ultimately a pharma company is going to give a mission statement that makes them lol great. If they start a foundation they’re going to make it sound great. But we know the reality of pharma companies and that often foundations like this can be forms of money laundering- not that they don’t always do the work as well- but they serve multiple purposes. And when a company has a dubious track record, it’s good to keep a watchful eye for red flags that may slip through. 
 

biggest take away from this all though is it’s more about the company and state of pharma than it is anything to do with Gaga.

and also. The side of fiercely defending Gaga to the point of misinformation about what Clinuvel does and what this foundation states they seek to do does NOT help. To say they treat skin cancer and the foundation is FOR skin cancer is just factually incorrect. They make an implant that helps produce melanin as a self tanner and provided UV protection - so the implant can function as sunscreen in a way to put it in overly simple terms. That is why there is mention of sun sensitivity and skin cancer - because these things can *potentially* be prevented with it.

idk tbh - the tech angle is pretty fab and i think Haus Labs customers are more than satisfied. Once she breaks into skin care without ‘make up’ i fear she might be unstoppable

That’s what I’m saying. Like clearly it was some part of her lol but the way she approaches her interests and values does seem to shift a lot relationship to relationship and it usually coincides with how they approach a certain thing
