Just because there is nothing "wrong" with what she said does not mean we are not allowed to be pissed off with her naked capitalism in recent years, especially when it contradicts so much of what she said in earlier years. The issue people are having with her is not about capitalism itself, it is about hypocrisy and general weariness with the advertising shilling.

You might be over the "virtue signalers" I am over those who try to attack and invalidate anyone with legitimate reasons to be irritated with her.

Plenty of people make music, literally millions. She's one of the few artists I've connected to and still consider to be one of the greatest, no matter if she's on a world tour, in a movie, working on her makeup brand, or sitting at home making lasagna

She's still the same person I adore

If you can't see that or appreciate her for that then I'm sorry for you tbh

My last post on the matter 'cause I checked out of toxic stan culture ages ago specifically because y'all can be so miserable to be around sometimes

So are you telling me you'd be a fan if she never made music in the first place? We are ALL here because of her being Lady Gaga, we are all here because of who she is. But the one person we connected with from day one allowed us in through music. She had a point of view, something to say, and became someone influential of our time. But if she never did music again I think she'd become someone who people used to stan and maybe go back to for nostalgia rather than someone the actively keep up with. That might be different for you but I can forsee a lot of people moving on.

Nobody is saying she's lazy. She clearly puts the effort into things, just not what a bulk of the fanbase is wanting or needing from her. Her choice of words though tonight...

Honestly I think it would be unwise to invalidate others opinions and feelings here

Attack? No one is attacking. Also take the time to listen to her entire conference instead of taking out one line. By the way, it’s a logical fact that capitalism and art do exist. Literally every day.
