I do like Kevin Parker, but sometimes I feel like his "psychedelic sound" is really mainly tailored for him and him only.

It's hard one to explain.

She stated that she still sticking to her pop sound with psychedelic elements. The **** you want her to do? And it is different from FN. Both are dance but that doesn’t make them the same sound lmao.

What I want her to do is not paint it as a massive transformation lmao

We have forgotten our public MANNERS

Departure from her old sound? So I can only assume Houdini and Training Session are not in the album :icant:

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

The record label probably still wants one of the songs to be a hit.
None of the singles yet have been a smash like on the previous album ( atleast not in the USA)

I mean they've not really had any impact in the UK either.

It didn't make any Year End charts, it's only Silver Certified. Charted at 2.
Training Season's officially hit 4 so far...

It's Psychedelic if you've never listened to anything labelled Psychedelic or taken anything Psychedelic.

I think Training Season does have a few different elements in the production that Dua hasn’t used before, but overall it is true that she’s not departing from her previous sound as much. Its like a 10% difference.

that being said, usually singles are the most “radio friendly” songs, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the rest of the album leans into something different

Can’t believe we’re 2 singles in with no album title or release date. It’s sad that her team is still desperate for a smash single at this stage in her career.

I really don't understand the lukewarm reception of the DL3 singles on the forum. While definitely not groundbreaking, both songs still slap. They're absolute bops.

What's mildly annoying is her pace. I give her my respect for trying to re-establish the long era concept but I'm afraid our attention span really has shortened. I feel like she was very lucky with FN and it just kinda happened by chance that she could serve like 5+ singles and have the era running active from the end of 2019 until around Q2 2021.

C'mon, Dua, give us the release date for the album, it's almost been 5 months since the start of the promo cycle.

Training Season sounds more like ABBA inspired song but still curious to hear the rest of the album if it does in fact have some psychedelic stuff in there. So far the two singles still sound a bit like they could've been part of Future Nostalgia re-release edition but that's probably just me.

I love both singles but I wouldn't call them a "departure". They're slightly different, maybe an "evolution" of her sound. She should drop this marketing strategy because clearly it's turning people against her :rip:

This, the marketing is so strange to me. Is clearly not working. Nobody cares about the singles, even we gays are “meh”.
3rd album curse is real, I lncoming mega flop coming
