eifulien 2,969
I find it repulsive and can't imagine how overwhelming it must be for a person like T.S. to be dragged into politics, a sphere she never signed up for. Like, how tf do you exit this situation when everyone will be holding you accountable. It's crazy. Additionally, the fact that society allows for a single person to acquire so much influence and surrender its own power and decision-making ability is quite alarming. I'm honestly worried about Taylor and the inevitable fall from grace she'll have to endure. I can't deny she's the Apple of the music industry - milking everybody till they've spent their last penny on her merch, cds, vinyls, etc., but apart from aproaching her music career as an obnoxious capitalist, she is also a human being. T.S., the artist, never signed up for the position the US society is giving her and it's quite vicious that she'll probably be poured cold water soon, and undeservedly so. It happened to Gaga after her peak, I feel like it kinda happened to Beyoncé and Ariana Grande. But Taylor's fall will probably have to be the biggest. I could definitely see her not weighing in, especially given that it’s a rematch and we all remember who she endorsed last time. We’ll see. We have forgotten our public MANNERS

We all know her politics, I honestly think she should stay quiet this cycle for her & especially her fans safety at the remaining US eras tour shows. She‘s well aware and so is Biden‘s team. I hope and think she will make a call for voters registration and make her stance on certain issues clear without endorsing a party because the choice should be obvious then and I‘m pretty certain that most of her fans are not going to vote red. Nah lol he just doesn’t like when the media reports that anyone of note dislikes him or likes someone over him. She does have power, but I don’t think that’s the motivation here
