Mitski New Fans From Tiktok Are Ruining Concert Experience For Others

One of her song from latest alboom, My Love Mine All Mine, recently got popular on tiktok which garnered her a lot of new fans. And this issues is becoming prevalent.

Mitski have previously set boundaries and hinting she doesn't like to be called mother or such on her previous shows during this new tour;

 

 

 

 

People need to understand Mitski is different type of artist that most of the time her shows are very quiet trying to create intimate vibe since her songs that she's trying to perform are needing of that. People who listens to Mitski long enough will understand this. So people trying go get attention from the artists to themselves, and flash photography by audience, (that Mitski have called out on too),  like what would happen on regular pop shows are not welcome here, since it kinda ruins the vibe. 
 

What do you think, should people learned more of concert etiquette or should we just gatekeep some artists, since fomo masses are usually always ruining things for actual fans?

Ok obviously she is the artist and deserves respect, but also hecklers have always existed at every concert I've been to? It's just a small annoying moment and its literally not that serious. Not worth all the pearl clutching.

Actually this is new fir Mitski shows, and clearly unwelcomed by other audience in the venue.

I can understand that BUT you can not force an audience to react the way you want to. Sure some people can not read the room but as an artist you can’t expect people to „behave“ the way you want.

There's a big difference between audience reaction and audience members being disruptive. 

You can (and should) absolutely expect audience decorum and etiquette. There's been a noticeable decline since the pandemic.
