Another disaster for Democrats.

Special Council has found that Biden willfully retained classified information but due to his poor memory issues, he won't be charged.

"We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory," Hur wrote in the report. "Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone from whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness."

So he was unable to remember he had the documents, yet he therefore was able to willingly withhold them? This is dumb. A simple read-through exposes this, yet most people won't even bother and only take it at face value.

I think the most damaging thing to democrats is the Special Council's statements about Biden's memory issues.

This sucks, because I think policy-wise Biden has done a great job especially when it comes to the economy.

But unfortunately it's becoming more likely that Trump will win. Personally, I think Biden's memory issues are much less dangerous to America than Trump's ideology.

No T but special counsel who was appointed during Trumps administration and is a Republican so basically, can’t charge Biden but let’s continue the old man narrative blah blah blah, it’s the epitome of let’s build on the same boring narrative. Trump is also old and decrepit and far more dangerous. Garland had to appoint a republican counsel so it wouldn’t look like a Dem bias so you take the old man shade on the chin. 

Has everyone forgotten what Trump has done and would do? 

At this point, if you want democracy vote Biden, if you want utter carnage and eradication of your rights, vote Trump.

I haven't read up on this yet so the situation could be completely different, but this is giving me vibes of the strategic "Email" situation that cost Hillary the presidency. 

But mkay! If it's as bad as people are acting then impeach him, make him step down, and bar him from running. Then do the same to Trump since he did the same thing but claims to have all his mental faculties.

I’m sorry you can’t go toe to toe with Trump on who’s more corrupt and a crook lmao no one cares when the man you’re running is a caricature of one. Like it’s just played out. They need a different tactic if they want to nail Biden bc this isn’t the one I see anyone giving af about. It doesn’t rile the base any more than it did, it doesn’t stir up new drama. It just makes people tune out which is the last thing they need trying to beat an incumbent

It's not the only candidate democrats could find; besides "nameless democrat towing party line" he's statistically the most likely to win by far being the incumbent. If they didn't nominate the incumbent the optics would be that they acknowledge they made a mistake in 2020. All of Biden's tea has been out there for decades. A newcomer opens the floodgates of MAGA op-attacks and conspiracy theories on them like they've done with nearly every progressive representative nomination. It sucks but this is just where we are at the moment.

It does validate the idea that they only care when Trump does it so its a witch hunt. It also validates the idea of a deep state only going after Trump. It doesnt validate it to me, but it will for many people.
