"We don't negotiate with terrorists" has been very popular for many years, as well as "Mainstream media is extremely biased!" yet... let's give Putin a platform that doesn't have the oversight as traditional media, just the whims of a mega billionaire who gives humor to the concept that there is a "White Replacement" going on trying to end white people! Very unbiased of them.

But Putin is not a terrorist, and interviewing Putin doesnt make you biased! Elon's horrible opinions are invalid to Tucker using Twitter as a platform. Im sure there will be alot of valid criticism of the interview, but im not seeing any at the moment.

Are Ukrainian civilians terrified? Are his constituents terrified? Are gay people in Russia terrified? He's spreading terror, which makes him a terrorist to me.

and as I asked earlier, what are we supposed to get out of this interview? Reasoning behind his love for murder to achieve power? I don't see the benefit.

Omg... I tried so hard not to express my opinion on this but... Man.

You Americans are so polarized, divided, so entitled to your option yet so brainwashed by both republican and Democrat propaganda.

We central-east european people (I am from Romania), who are basically at the middle of everything, may have a more objective perspective on what going on with Ukraine, Russia, the West, the East...

I don't like Tucker but let's wait for this interview, I am incredibly sure you will have some surprises.

Develop your critical thinking and stop taking sides, there is not a good or a bad side.

But most importantly, stop acting like you're the police of the world. You are not.

PS: No, I'm not a Putinist, not a Zelenskynist, not a republican nor from democrats...

What nonsense is this lmao

Yes there can be a good and a bad side. Just because you wanna be "neutral" doesn't mean that there isn't a bad side here.

As for the interview, we know Tucker enough to realize it won't be an interview. It'll be a platform for Putin to spread his propaganda to MAGA supporters without any fact-checking or pushback from the journalist interviewing him.

We know who Tucker is and how he operates, clearly you don't.

You should know better. And we're not talking about Ukraine. The way that he treats his own citizens make him a terrorist.

He literally executes his opponents. Anybody who speaks out against him mysteriously falls out of the window. ( https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/full-list-suspicious-russian-deaths/)

Navalny was poisoned multiple times and now he's rotting in jail with severe bodily harm that leaves him unrecognizable even to his family. Boris Nemtsov was shot dead.

He orchestrated a terrorist attack on his own people (Moscow apartment bombings) to help himself get elected to the Presidency in 1999. (independent investigations by the duma were even blocked by his government).

A young Russian protestor got sentenced to 7 YEARS OF PRISON for simply holding an anti-war sign:

I was raised by a Polish mom who grew up in a Soviet-controlled country! She was forced to learn Russian and watch Russian media at home, in Poland. She also hates Putin! As well as my grandparents who still live in Poland! Are those Central-Eastern Europeans more or less brainwashed than you?

As long as they know what the hell are they're talking about and can speak from their own, direct, experience and not from the American mass media, they have every right to hate or love Putin.

This is about US' being implicated in almost every single conflict that's not their business from the last 70 years and its citizens not realizing they pay for everything.

This is a conflict involving a country bordering NATO/EU and with aspirations to join both organizations.

The U.S, being an ally of Europe, has a responsibility to help. If there's division in the alliance, NATO won't make sense anymore. And ironically your own country will be in jeopardy.

So you should be thankful that Ukrainians are paying a heavy price to stop Russia in Ukraine, before they get to Moldova and who knows, maybe Romania next if NATO becomes obsolete?

All countries spread terror though! If thats the definition of terrorism you are using, then all countries are terrorists. Me saying Putin is not a terrorist is not a defense of him, hes as bad as a terrorist, but I wouldnt use that specific word because its not accurate.

Its good to interview Putin because its important to know your enemies propaganda. Its good to challenge them and see their reaction and response to tough questions. You also have to be open to understand the other side even if they are bad. This is why mainstream media like CNN also interviews dictators, terrorist groups, white nationalists..

Even though what Putin does is as bad as terrorism, he is not a terrorist. Me saying hes not a terrorist is not a defense of him, hes as bad as a terrorist, but I wouldnt use that specific word because its not accurate.

Terrorism has a specific definition for a reason, and it doesnt apply to world governments. This is why we have other words like fascism or dictatorship to use against governments.

What is your definition of a terrorist? "a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims" sounds like Putin to me.

I would potentially agree if the person interviewing him would actually challenge him hard and hold him accountable for being extremely evil, but then Putin would never do that interview!

"Terrorism is the unlawful use of force or violence by an individual or group. This force or violence can be used against people or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment of it. The goal is to further political, social, or ideological objectives."

So dictators who use unlawful violence against civilians to further political social or ideological objectives, and lend support to and/or orchestrate false flag terroristic activities can't be considered terrorists simply because they're head of state?

There is something called State Terrorism, and it's a type of terrorism.

Terrorism usually applies to none government organizations. But if you want to apply it to governments too, then singling out Putin as a terrorist doesnt make sense when the other side is also terrorist.

Im personally on Americas side, but not because America is morally good, its mostly because it benefits me and my country. I support America but this doesnt mean I agree with the steps America took in this conflict.

We're talking about Putin who is also a subject to a warrant by the ICC, while also actively defying the orders of the ICJ.

We're not saying Russia is a terrorist country, or America is innocent.

Like if Trump gets elected tomorrow and acts like Putin, I have no issue calling him a terrorist, not all of America, just in the same way I'm differentiating between Putin and the Russian people.
