I've never seen something like Taylor Swift in my life. Usually artists reach a peak and then their popularity wanes. Maybe not to the point where they're forgotten flops, but their popularity wanes and plateaus and they coast along for the rest of their careers.  Elvis, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Janet, Backstreet Boys, Britney... I could go on and on naming artists who were once SUPER popular and whether through overexposure or ageism or scandal, their popularity starts to wane at some point. This girl keeps getting more and more popular. I've never seen anything like it. lol

 

Anyways. I've always been under the impression that Taylor's schtick was blaming others for **** she played a role in and playing the victim. The "He done me wrong and I was the perfect faultless girlfriend." but I listened to Anti-Hero the other day and I was pleasantly shocked to hear her being a bit self-deprecating.
