I also don't think we'll get full album of tracks sung in the movie... from the previews in the trailers they're more like raw/acapella, so it doesn't seem like they would fit a whole album... I think it's more likely something similar to Top Gun, with score + few select songs (including originals probably)

and the songs are mostly covers of old songs... people didn't even listen to Love For Sale which are covers of old songs too, but Joker covers seem to be even older hahaha so... I really don't think it'll get even half the success of ASIB

Either the album is coming this late summer/fall, or early 2025. I have a feeling it's coming soon, but releasing it anytime between now and November will interfere with Joker, and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing? Joker will have music too so it just feels weird to me.

She's had a couple year gap so having all these releases at once doesn't make sense in theory. Or maybe she just doesn't care and wants to do whatever she wants, which I fully support too. It's probably not that deep.
