It's clear there was still more work to be done on the album—since they just decided to add DWAS on it—which is why they didn't release it sooner.

I'll reiterate it again: I don't think the fire has any bearing on when she decides to release the album and/or promote it. People are just assuming she delayed the promo because of the fires, but we don't even know if she had promo planned for this week in the first place. Likewise, the album is coming in February. I don't think the news of the fires will affect LG7 or how it's perceived in any way.

I mean true on part 1 and 2 haha but there was so much hype in the summer with everything going on, among us and just the general public, however I feel like everything died down.. they had so much momentum to work with and now they'll have to build it up again somehow. 

As for point 3.... they cancelled a lot of things due to covid and the BLM movement... fires this close to home might be also a bit bad for business.

Nah I disagree, Joker hurting LG7 would suck too much. She should’ve announced the album on Monday, and I know it seems nitpicky but announcing in January was already cutting it close bc where tf is she gonna have time to get preorders…?

January 17 is the last best date they can release a new single for January btw. after that week is The Weeknd's album release then Kendrick Lamar Super Bowl.

DAY 10

It's 10 days after New Year's Eve and she still didn't tell us the album title, second single title and releases day, I think I'm losing my mind, it feels so empty and scary here. and Disease is stuck in my head for months,make it stop.

I heard strange noises from outside, I'm scared, I think some infected little monsters are approaching "wherrrreeee isssss theeee promoooooooo??" we call them the "promotheus", they were infected by the "promosentitivus" virus, she... she.. she released it into the wild and destroyed the world.

Wish us luck, we need it, like Billie the Saint said: "not today, maybe tomorrow, kinda strange, feeling sorrow"

Just gotta say. These fires are awful but I truly feel like some entity larger than us has doomed this fandom. What did we do wrong? We need to be purged of our sins immediately. I repent in the name of god!!!!!! I REPENT!!!!

Ok let’s think for a moment, we don’t know anything at all, but we are just going off feelings and hunches……

but in some way  AT LEAST she hasn’t hugely announced something on New Year about ‘my next album Chaos Soul is about unleashing the Hell Fires of Gaga from within and to free the Lady to dance in redemption  “ or judas knows what……, with that we’d be in a much much WORSE position……. Let’s just see, we know the music is done; and I personally believe it will be great when it comes…..

Remember we went into 2024 ‘’thinking’’ it’s coming… we are now into 2025 KNOWING its coming… so deep breathes 🧘 … let’s just see…. and sad reflections to those who are experiencing the trauma of losing their homes

I can’t help but feel we wouldn’t be in this predicament if her and her team had decided to announce the title/ release on New years! 
If the details were already out there then she wouldn’t have fingers being pointed at her for being “insensitive” and could continue with a February release. 

Saying that, it most likely means that things were not ready and now a delay has caused the inevitable to happen. 

But again, they should not have begun teasing almost a year ago and certainly should not have spoken about a February release. 
(And definitely should’ve communicated about a delay if there is one)

The current situation is not their fault, but once again they have handled things poorly. It’s incredibly frustrating.

An October album rollout would have coincided with the social media hate train for her from incels due to JFAD. It would have destroyed the album era and many of the plans for 2025 like Rio & Coachella could have been totally derailed.

And considering they havent communicated it that means there's no delay and you are all being dramatic for no reason  We knew Disease was coming in October and everyone panicked about it being delayed 'cause it was released on the last friday possible and they didn't tease till the week of release.

Even if it’s not, why on earth are they leaving the timeframe for preorders so late? 
The only reasons I can think of is because they really anre unbothered about its success or its coming the last week of February and she won’t announce until closer the time because of the fires.

I always thought it was coming in the last two weeks of February and the announcement was planned from mid January onwards
