In fact, most people's issue with the movie is not her. It's with the direction by Todd Philips and the path the movie takes. In fact most negative reviews I've seen have said Gaga is severely underused.

I can tell she’s waiting to release the first single until the Joker hate train passes by and leaves. But I kinda don’t want it to be released too close to the election 😭 I want this single to shine and have its moment for a while.

Guys reception of Joker is not gonna influence the October release whether it’s on the 11th or the 18th or the 25th it’s gonna be out the day it is supposed to come out. They plan these releases in advance.

this is the thing most of her listeners care about and been waiting for it for years, why on earth would she delay it for people who do not f*ck with her anyway!?

that's not a solution and would in fact make things much worse, hopefully they stick to the plan!

Yeah, her stanbase is wilding atm. It's obvious many only care about "numbers" as main priority.

The thing is, there’s a lot of misinformation out there right now.

Hate on JFAD, people thinking Gaga lost her voice from what they hear in the movie ➡️ shitstorm around movie ➡️ disgusting articles pointing fingers, balming Todd, Gaga ➡️ people thinking she’s failing in cinema.

People thinking Harlequin is LG7 ➡️ people upset about genre ➡️ album not charting high (understandable, it’s a concept, companion album, but a lot of people don’t know) ➡️ people thinking she is also failing in music.

Releasing LG7’s first single now is both a big risk and a big opportunity.

If people engage positively with the single, she could come out of this mess quicker. But honestly I don’t think she’s in the best position right now to release more music. If the shitstorm goes on and LG7 gets dragged in, it’s going to be the end for LG7.

In my opinion she has two options:

1. Releasing LG7 1st single at the very end of the month if things have cooled down.

2. If she needs to wait, then it has got to be end of january / beginning of february. November is too late and Halloween will be passed, Christmas freeze starts around mid november, even sooner sometimes. Plus, elections mess.

We know LG7 is going to be what we’ve been longing from her for a long time, from the snippets we heard so far. I hope we’ll be nice and supportive to her whatever she decides to do.
