they need to come up with a fun and engaging way to announce the song imo

maybe throw in some puzzles, make a countdown idk but make it worth the wait!!! and it get people will tune in and forget about Joker II

Well I think she rushed the lead to October because she knew Joker 2 would be controversial, even she doesn't seemed happy with the final cut of the movie and maybe that's why we have been bombed with a lot of music these days.

I bet her team has something big prepared for the start of this new era, maybe a radical new look or a shocking announcement to let people know Joker/Harlequin era is over and the next is LG7, but it's still too early to start the game, I don't think she would release on the 18th because the premier of the movie in Asia takes place on the 16th and maybe she'll do some interviews/promotion during that week, LG7 lead is surely coming on the 25th and she'll announce on monday 21 or tuesday 22 with huge promo and teasers starting that week

Don’t think so. Maybe one or two more interviews but that’s it. She didn’t even post about it being out(the director too). It’s a fact everyone from the cast moved on. It’s a really bad move if you still promote smth people are not loving( reviews, haters flooding her instagram and so on)

Tbh I think the ones who write these hateful comments aren't even her demography who stream and buy her songs anyway. So I guess she could care less about them.

I was hoping she would do all those fun YouTube videos like Wired questions, Vanity Fair lie detector etc to promo the movie, but I guess it makes sense now why they didn’t. 
 

Maybe she’ll do some of those to promo LG7.
