Remember, while we are lucky DWAS turned into a hit, it had extemely low opening numbers of only 4 Million streams. Even Stupid Love opened with more than that. It had that low opening because it was a surprise release and that is not a good thing. The lead is most likely to peak in week 1 unless it really catches on, and there is no guarantee that happens. Stupid Love was announced on a Tuesday, the week of its release, it opened with 7M on Spotify AND was leaked a month prior. She don’t have to post snippets to do numbers. If the audience is there. They will be there. She just need to announce it earlier of the week. You can’t compare with DWAS because it was announced literally the day it drops. That was a surprise release.
