I'm not saying Trump is any better, I just think people need to start voting based on common sense rather than identity politics. The press secretary never even answers questions, just repeats the same crap. I'm not even American but America affects the whole world and you guys need a new administration. The world is laughing at you. Countries like Russia etc are gearing up some of the best soldiers whilst the US and even my country UK are arguing about "what is a woman"... oops, did I say the quiet part out loud? I don't think it's silly, there can be multiple important discussions happening at once, society has to progress its ideas on identity in some way. It's just that some people are scared by differences and can't comprehend that these differences will never affect them. RFK has always been democrat. But an old school democrat like me, for example I follow the values but I don't support awful human beings like Hillary Clinton. I struggle with having too much empathy a lot and the whole thing with the 12 year old girl back in the day makes me sad, not to mention the emails, and when 99% of the people on here supported her back in 2016 it affected me a lot, but i guess we had to vote for the lesser of the two evils. The United States has always been a two party system, unfortunately. Which means “the lesser of two evils” is prevalent. The fact of the manner is Donald Trump has potential to be president. He is a staunch supporter of Putin, and has undermined longstanding allies, UK, Canada, and EU since he was elected. Are there politicians better suited to be president than Joe Biden? Absolutely. Are there people in his cabinet and party capable of retaining relationships? Yes. Any fracturing in the Democratic Party is a potential vote thrown. She's under no obligation to do that though. Personally I think she will do it. She endorsed Biden last time and it took guts even then. It would be more dangerous now, but it was dangerous back then too. They are trying to intimidate her at the moment, but she wouldn't be in the position she's in if she was easily intimidated. Let's just say Biden is by far the better option. Not what the U.S needs an deserves, but by far better. Trump for 4 more years could affect the global politics turning into a madhouse. He would take the U.S. out of Nato and then every country that believes in democratic values such as Ukraine, EU and other western countries that hold onto these believes are screwed by Putin and the other dictators in the background. Furthermore he would support Israel under the cover of loyalty while spreading his Islamohobic propaganda further, fueling extremism, while Biden is just doing a bad job beeing diplomatic to be honest. Pop culture was always apart of society and as our society shifts and twists more into this absurd reality, where a business man and media personality did became president just by spreading hate campaigns, and still can run a second time after he indirectly attacking the capitol, I believe that Taylor Swift should not only raise her voice, but needs to do it for the sake of society. She should raise her voice for all women, for all people believing in democratic states and equal rights for islamic, trans, poc and queer people. Artists impacts on society can be seen years later, Gaga shaped and shifted live for the LGBTQ+ community for better in many countries just by voicing her believes. If Taylor wants to be an Musician remembered for years to come she stays quiet, If she wants to be an Artist remembered for decades, she gets political.
