This! I still can't believe she only kept him around as a credit on ROM. His production is insane and is perfect for Chromatica.

Real talk I think he’s a good guy. But I have to be honest, Joanne, Chromatica, and Hold My Hand are her most disappointing works of music. Most of the production is off to me, and they’ll likely never hold a candle to songs from TFM, BTW, or ASIB (sans my favorite ones like Just Another Day and Replay, which are not produced by him). I know he’s talented because I do enjoy his solo work and his hits with other artists, but unfortunately them as a duo never clicked for me. 
 

ON THE OTHER HAND I think he’s actually a solid creative director with Gaga outside of production. I believe the whole concept of Chromatica with the tribes, the interludes, etc. were his idea, and if that’s true then I respect him a lot for that. He also practically convinced Gaga to ok Dawn of Chromatica and put all that together, which is great too.
