I don't think its because she doesn't have a strong personality, if you watch her interviews, she is hilarious, intelligent and very charming.

The issue is that there are no aspects of her personality that people can relate to, she is hot, she is successful, she seems very unfazed by drama and criticism, she does not come across as insecure or depressed, she spends months out of the year going on vacations in amazing places and she keeps her private life private.

Dua Lipa is everything that most people wish they could be which means that she is not relatable and it does not help that a lot of her songs come across as impersonal even if they are bops.

Yeah I have enjoyed a lot of her music from the beginning but her first album was a little more vulnerable. Future Nostalgia was great but she (or her team needs to let her) needs to move on from solely just fun dance music about having fun or love. 

Her debut album imo has much better vocals than FN.

Every artist makes music about love and having fun.. literally everyone. nothing is controversial anymore

YESSSSSS so excited! She and Taylor are the only female popstars that get me excited these days. but also I have to say this era feels like it's a different version of future nostalgia. Dont start now vs houdini and now physical vs training season... like I kinda sense a theme. Not complaining tho
