During an interview on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show with DJ Greg James, the pop star shared that she isn't a fan of chocolate ice cream or Italian gelato but does have a go-to ice cream flavour.

"I get vanilla ice cream and I put olive oil on it, and sea salt," Lipa said and added how she's been converting her friends to the dessert.

"So many people I’ve shown it to, I’ve brought to the dark side.’

She has also previously been vocal on social media about her taste in ice cream, with a post on X in 2022 that read, "Olive oil ice cream for the win," and included a snap of herself holding an ice cream cone.

A couple of the ones that tried and got viral

Would you try/eat this? :flower:

I've not tried this but I vaguely remember a guide in Ljubljana mentioning the olive oil thing + I think it was pumpkin seeds.

So maybe the olive oil hack is a Balkans thing?

The ice cream she's eating can't be that good. :laughga:

I agree though, I feel like a lot of people have done this already. However, it's great for people who don't know.

It's actually really good! It sounds nasty, I get it, but once you've tried it it makes sense. It's like salted caramel and stuff. What's most important is using good quality ingredients, especially salt (I use Maldon salt crystals). Used to work at this french restaurant for a few years and once this recipe got taken off the menu, the usuals were sad.
