homomo 23,883
Pop, Synthwave, Post Punk, Rock, Industrial, Psychedelia What if LG7 is influenced by the above mentioned genres? I’ve been into music like this lately, and I’ve noticed Gesaffelstein has even produced songs sounding similar to these genres (“Orck” and “Doom” from his 2019 EP “Nova Sonic System”) These genres (especially synthwave and post-punk) typically invoke feelings of nostalgia, sadness, and happiness all at the same time. It seems to be a growing trend that artists are trying to get people to “feel” their music, usually by invoking emotion through its melodies, chord progression, and instruments used (see Memory Reboot) Here are some samples: With these genres, I could see visuals akin to goths in a nightclub, dark and mysterious black and white aesthetics, somber lyrics and melodies merged with techno-industrial beats. Idk, I think I’m just trying anything to pass this pre-release hype. 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111
homomo 23,883
Additional thought: the album exploring post-apocalyptic wastelands. Maybe rock bottoms we’ve all hit and the feeling of being lost with no hope in sight. It could explore themes aided by dystopian cyberpunk genres while also the opposite side of desolation with the post-punk genre 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111

HelloHangoverz 17,450
All of the music you linked is ****ing incredible. There'd be a string of NHS ambulances lined up on my street if this was LG7. In the best possible way Availability is not weakness
GypsyVida 5,930
I feel like LG7 will be a total opposite theme of Chromatica. Instead of taking a head-on look at her trauma, Gaga will be reflecting on the high of being in a relationship and also her need/love for solitude and inner peace. Psychedelic rock would be my go-to genre for this type of lyrical theme, with maybe some synth pop and punk mixed in there too. Considering she's been seen with Gesaffelstein, this could hold true. I linked some of Joe Keery's (Djo) music, as well as King Gizzard, Björk, Lil Yachty, and Tame Impala in the spoiler. I'd LOVE this vibe for LG7. Spoiler Whatever it ends up being, I just hope it's some form of rock lol. I'm SO ready for a RockGa album! currently streaming Zombieboy

Ophelia 4,725
A genre that mixes synth-pop and industrial, has a lot of romantic vibe (or lyrics) is Futurepop. Vocal delivery is very nostalgic, sometimes robotic. It can have more dancey "uplifting trance" additions and some heavier Gesaffelstein-type beats as well. It's very niche and mostly performed by men (like 99% of artists tbh ), but I'd love to see Gaga somehow inspired by this. One of my fav genres (^this one is a bit more electroclash/chiptune, but still has that nostalgic futurepop vibe) ...has anybody seen my disco stick? Bronco 10,240
I feel like there's been a recent uptick in the 'underground' music scenes towards the dance punk/punk disco vibes + electroclash slowly seems to be reviving. I'd love to see Gaga's take on it. I've always kind of wished we got a Gaga album during the high era of electroclash acts like Fischerspooner. Sneaky Oliver 22,040
I have a feeling is going to sound like those too and if it comes true, it’s shaping up to be my favorite Gaga album at least instrumental-wise

androiduser 7,438
it's just genre names being thrown around, no sure why pop fans can't accept that pop stars make pop music and these inspirations don't make it anything else than pop
