Kanye West sparks fury wearing shirt with neo-Nazi and convicted murderer

Controversial rapper Kanye West has sparked yet more outrage after wearing a t-shirt with the face of a convicted murderer and neo-Nazi on it.

The 46-year-old star, who just weeks ago apologised for his anti-Semitic behaviour in 2022, was pictured with Kristian 'Varg' Vikernes's face plastered over his top.

Vikernes, known for supporting Nazism and being openly anti-Semitic, fronted one-man black metal band Burzum between 1992 and 1996.  In August 1993, Vikernes fatally stabbed Mayhem guitarist Euronymous.  He openly supported Nazism during the 1990s and in 2022 said he 'appreciated' being labelled as a Nazi. The musician has continued to spark outrage by advocating 'a pre-industrial European pagan society' and his active opposition to the Jewish, Islam and Christian faiths. source

 

West was also accused of using the cover art of his new album 'Vultures' to pay tribute to Vikernes' Burzum.

it’s so crazy how someone so famous can be openly a nazi and still have a career. like he supports genocide. this earth just needs to be leveled and burned.  we are beyond any redemption
