What you're saying is nonsense, but go off I guess

I showed up two work 2 hours late for years, and they kept me on because they knew my value to my trade. Sure, I may be typing this drunk off my ass, but how dare a goddam audience member judge the value of their performer based solely on their punctuality?

Idk I guess I'm just sick of the privileged using the law to their advantage because of an inconvenience. Like, the law is there to protect people who are being WRONGED. Imagine buying tickets to a show and crying that you're being wronged because the performer showed up late. Sorry you got home to your million dollar condo two hours later than expected. Your life must be real tough.

Omg STFU and take the next day off from work if you're going to a concert. I l literally don't care if an artist starts 2 hours late. An artist isn't a steaming service. Sometimes personal issues conflict with your schedule. I truly don't care if you're scheduled for 830. Sometimes you show up 2 hours late, because life is ****ing unpredictable. I don't even like Madonna, and here I am, defending her, because you can't ****ing sue someone because they didn't meet your goddamn privileged expectations. First of all, get the **** over yourself. You bought tickets to an event, and it wasn't exactly to your expectations. You're no better than a yelp reviewer crying that your experience at the McDonald's drive-thru wasn't the same experience as a Michelin star rated restaurant.

My boyfriend just listened to me rant about your reply and he said, "Does it really matter that someone wants to take a thousand dollars from Madonnas multi-million dollar supply?" and I have been humbled.

But also, I stand by what I said 🤷🏽‍♀️

It is absolutely an issue that Madonna has made tardiness part of her brand, and it's shocking to me that its taken this long for someone to do something about it. People shouldn't have to buy tickets with the expectation that she's gonna show up several hours late to her own show (which itself is a privilege for her to be able to put on)

in the US, people come to the arena at 10:00 PM(and thats one of the reasons why she start late, arena is not fill until 10pm)... so many people know that :D

Not really true. Any concert I’ve been too the venue is packed by 8 or at the latest 8:30, and that’s everything from arenas to amphitheaters to football stadiums

OT: i really don’t see why she in particular has to be so late all the time. Countless other artists regularly start on time with shows that are just as spectacular and technical and more

"If Madonna, 95, is found guilty, she faces the electric chair"

This might be liable in court though. 🤣🤓

Last time I saw Gaga was the Monster Ball and she was an hour and a half late to the stage, and nobody sued 🤷🏽‍♀️

Also if it's a privilege for Madonna to perform, then she should be paying for people to show up.

If you're paying for a ticket, then accept that delays happen. If you're pissed about that, contact ticketmaster, not a judge.

How ironic the way you are talking about privilege a lot in your replies, but fail to understand that being able to take a time off from work more than one or two days is in itself a privilege that some people can't afford.

I can't afford to take a day off from work, never mind drop the money for Madonna tickets 🤷🏽‍♀️

I guess I don't get the idea of suing for damages more than the price of your tickets

When I saw her Madame X tour we expected she would probably be 2 hours late, and she was.  I didn't hear anyone complain that she was late.

I live outside the space time continuum.

But this is extremely known of her, just come late yourself if you don’t wanna wait.

I’m so glad. Madonna is notorious for this. It’s disgusting.  She comes out around 11pm on an 8pm ticket time. That’s gross and classless. I saw her years ago and she didn’t come out until after 11pm and she had the air turned off in the venue. DISGUSTING. and the tour setlist is lame!

And I get in **** for being 5 minutes late at my job :ohwell:

But at least when I'm late I don't inconvenience thousands of people...
