It sounds like she's had bad experiences with older people and therefore labels herself as an "ageist". It's not necessarily right, but I don't think she's any threat to any old person. That's why I said it had the same energy as people who say "I don't like kids". I mean, obviously I would never abuse a child, and I think the vast majority of people who have the whole "I'm not a fan of kids" mentality wouldn't either.
