Inspired by an observation by @Economy on my previous thread - how does the traditional attire of your country/ your ethnic group looks like? :max: This site has users from all over the world so I believe it would be interesting to see traditional clothing of various ethnicities and geographical areas.

The following images are of traditional Romanian attire from various geographical areas (Banat, Oltenia, Wallachia, Țara Oașului, Moldova).

To bring it closer to home for a pop culture forum, here are Lana Del Rey, Inna, Alexandra Stan and Madalina Ghenea wearing the traditional Romanian blouse :sis:

@Okinawa Not geopoltics, but something related :sis: - traditional folk attire can be an important national symbol which unites countries and contribute to a sense of shared identity (in my experience traditional attire seems to play a lesser role, in places like France).

Also @FfFfFfFF the kind of music/dance that would go with this:

Also this is the first time i seen a black guy in one of these. Times are changing :diane: (with the exeption of the south and a couple of the biggest cities the rest of Portugal is still like 97% white :rip:)

While not exactly a folk group… In the Canadian prairies, we have plenty of First Nation’s communities, including the Cree people. The Cree are a North American Indigenous people. They live primarily in Canada, where they form one of the country's largest First Nations.

I don't think Belgium has one traditional national costume, but here are some iconic ones tied to specific cities and events:
