Lyrical content and lyrical content only

1. Chromatica

2. The Fame Monster

3. Born This Way

4. ARTPOP

5. Joanne

6. The Fame

- TF, BTW & AP are great but all have some very cringey lyrics and most of ARTPOP lacks depth but makes up for interesting and intriguing lyrics. TF/ TFM are distinctively Gaga but don’t push the boundaries lyrically like BTW, AP & CA do. Joanne has some amazing ones but a little too repetitive for such a personal album. Chromatica may be a little basic but is super relatable and somewhat artistic.

1. Born This Way (the title track alone, marry the night, all very unique and interesting lyrics)

2. Chromatica (Babylon iconic hidden meaning: Babble On. Replay: Every single day yeah I build grave then sit inside it wondering if I’ll behave.)

3. ARTPOP (Aura with all the complex meaning about fame, .the aura of the pop star with fashion comparing it to being a veiled lover. G.U.Y. Venus MJH ARTPOP some of her most interesting and creative lyrics imo).

4. Joanne

5. The Fame Monster

6. The Fame

2. ARTPOP (Highlights: Aura, Sexxx Dreams, Mary Jane Holland, ARTPOP)

3. The Fame Monster (Highlights: Bad Romance, Speechless, Dance In the Dark)

The fame monster

born this way

The fame . That’s right. Just because it has fame, money, celebrity theme doesn’t make the lyrics bad.

ARTPOP

Chromatica .  Generic for the majority and too much lyrical collaboration/ doesn’t feel like GAGA like the first 3 albums she released.

Joanne . Her most generic and bland lyrics imo and funnily enough, probably some of her least involvement in the lyrics on one of her albums

Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”

I would rank Born This Way last as the lyrics as very cringe. I love the songs but some of the lyrics ruins it for me.

Chromatica was definitely a Gaga/Stefani album. We also have to take into consideration she was struggling a lot when she wrote those songs. I still think tracks like- Fun Tonight, 911, Replay are some of her best written to date.

Joanne - involves some of her most underrated lyrics too. The title track has so many layers lyrically, Angel Down is hauntingly beautful and the way she wrote on "Diamond Heart" was very bold and brave considering her past.
