The whole skibidi bop kind of culture the youngsters are living in seems very right-wing to me ldifgbjhvld idk

well.. this is up until 34... I don't know why they're moving to Trump! They probably feel a disconnect from whatever the results will be and they think he's funny/wacko so they wanna see what he does.

Things are not going well for the younger generation- so it’s hard for them to loyally pick a side. The majority of Americans are suffering due to crippling debt, student loans, a housing crisis, inflation, and the liberal media convinced people to vote based on social issues. Social issues are important, but they usually affect a certain minority, while the majority suffers. There is no production in the government right now, and a lot of politicians are too old and benefited from the things that are crippling the younger generations.

Many younger people simply do not want Biden as president, and a lot of those younger people care less about the social issues affecting the minority than they do economical effecting the majority.

Unfortunately a lot of them are also out of the loop on what exactly Biden has done, since he is an old an boring president. Unless you keep up to date with politics, or something absolutely major happens, he is out of the news.... until he falls asleep at a press conference, or has signs of losing his faculties, which has happened a number of times already.

A lot of the votes are likely 'Not Biden', which means Trump, because he who is the most popular.

I truly feel like the Democrats are giving away the election like they did when they put Hilary, who most of the support came from 'she's a woman and we want the first woman president' at a certain point (among the general public) against him, which is not the argument you want to win swing states - blue will almost always vote blue.

Younger democrats do not want Biden. He will not win the swing states.

It's because Biden supports the genocide in Palestine and young people are leaving him in droves (including me) however I would prefer Nikki Haley

Yeah pretty much this. Biden's support of Israel is alienating A LOT of supporters of his.

Young voters leaving Biden in the dust because of his support for Israel and running to... BB's favorite guy.

Yea that makes total sense. Not trusting this poll at all.

Nikki Haley is worse on the Israel-Palestine issue. She basically said Nentenyahu had carte blanche to “finish” the Palestinians after 10/7.

REALITY

I feel like Biden's thoughts/actions towards the whole Israel-Palestine conflict is going to bite him in the ass. I've noticed a lot of liberal people, especially young liberal people, are moving away from him just because of that issue. Why move to Trump? I don't know. But I really think his attitude towards what's going on in Israel & Palestine is going to cost him.

We are a year away from the election. Things will change. Young folk are mad at Biden for the response to the Israel/Palestine conflict.

That's why I don't believe these polls (on top of their means of collection being extremely outdated and biased towards older folks). It makes zero sense for someone on the left of the political spectrum to suddenly support the most right-wing candidate when they fault Biden for his supporting Israel. Trump will let BB do whatever he wants to the Palestinians, and as soon as he can Trump will start rounding up anyone protesting for Palestine here.

As they say, six months time is an eternity in politics, and we are still 1 year away from election day. Things could change, obviously.

The nazification of social networks, constant far-right propaganda since the pandemic, conspiracy theories... I've seen this coming for years.

Utterly horrifying.

Yeah. Moving away from Biden, I understand. But switching to Trump, when he wouldn't do any better, is weird.
