Swine the blueprint that you are :staymad:

It's a nice song I hope it grows more on me. I just don't get why she called it Houdini it's kinda cringey :billie:

I guess she’ll do something like what she did with Don’t start now in this version

My guess is that she is saving it for next week because Houdini's full commercial effect wont start becoming apparant until then as she dropped the single right before the tracking week came to an end. Either way, the way we keep winning, that picture gives me Pink Floyd vibes.

Hey, I'm king of the world, you ought to hear my song, you come on measure me, I'm twenty inches long

With the context that it's the lead single (so it'll obviously be the most general appealing one off the album like Dont start now) it's definitely really strong, waiting to see the rest of the album to judge on things like experimentation

It's nice but ok I guess. I think the song lacks something interesting, as it's too flat (sounds almost the same the whole time). Maybe the extended version makes it more interesting.

I liked what they did in the "illusion" scenes as well as the ones with the dancers, but think they could've made it more elaborated. I'm curious to see the what the next single brings.

Good song, but feels a bit "undercooked", it just feels like it's missing something in the second part of the song.

This is a problem with many pop songs with great potential. I feel this way when I listen to Gaga's Bad Romance, Alejandro demos versus final version, I feel thankful that Gaga took the time to further develop those songs. Making a good song is one thing, but taking the time to develop it into a very good song that feels complete is another.

John Wayne is the worst offender with this.

1 all over iTunes. Queen.

Number 5 here in the US. But that’s because sadly a lot of my fellow Americans have poor taste in music.

Video was cool I liked the psychadelic and kaleidoscope effects, song felt a little flat at first but I have a feeling it’ll grow on me.
