Morphine Prince 102,600
Finally a good Pop song to save us from the Taylor Tyranny. It’s so good, Kevin Parker is an amazing producer.

MelbHawker 6,583
Love the verses, great melodies & vocals. The production is funky/slick. I like it - I’m sure it’ll grow on me. The video is cool, I appreciate the dancing/choreo/creativity of it all. I just.. who put together that outfit?

Give us something for the lead single! It’s giving running out of budget for the fourth single of an album that’s already out. Did we watch the same video? The concept is clearly tied to the magical realism of everything constantly appearing & and disappearing. What’s fun is that it looks “realistic” but it’s clearly an elevated and magical environment. Also, “simple looking” videos like this and Bey’s Single Ladies often cost a LOT more to produce than you think

My comment on the running out of budget was referring to the one outfit, one set and lack of imagination on what you usually get for a video later down the campaign. Maybe I had my expectations too high but I thought this was going to deliver a really strong concept and story to introduce th era with the heavy teasing with the key and lyrics, but the video just seems disconnected from it. Would have loved for some surrealism and spectacle.
Dennis 8,391
Good song, but feels a bit "undercooked", it just feels like it's missing something in the second part of the song. This is a problem with many pop songs with great potential. I feel this way when I listen to Gaga's Bad Romance, Alejandro demos versus final version, I feel thankful that Gaga took the time to further develop those songs. Making a good song is one thing, but taking the time to develop it into a very good song that feels complete is another.
Gorehound 3,804
Ok WOW this is actually rly good! I was never much of a Dua fan but this is excellent taste for a pop song. Kevins production is sick. I dig the minimalistic JD Sporty vibe it's very British street. I'm fine, Ta

I think the concept this era is “less fluff, more pure talent”. And I don’t mean that cheekily, I think the intention is to show she can sing & dance alongside the very best, so any discussion about her pedigree is squashed. It's kinda giving Madonna - Hung Up imo. I'm fine, Ta

Completely agree in that I think this video is to show how much her stardom and dancing skills have improved from the start of the last era, but I just wish she went all out first and then followed it up with something like this for the next single. Unsure whether this showcases her voice though as I think the instrumental (which is the best part of the song) swallows her up in some places. But there’s no denying this is Dua at her best, once again.
