That's gross and unacceptable. Walk that runway yourself and slap a different face on the final product if that's what you want. I hope he loses out on future partnerships etc.

Aaaaand so it beings! The lawless wild-west era of AI. Where it's becoming powerful enough to be used in dangerous or harmful ways, but there is still no official legislation to prevent people getting away with anything they want. It's going to be a wild free-for-all for a few years until we figure out how to manage this power we have released from Pandora's box

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Apparently Biden signed an executive order on AI saftey and there's growing pressure from the EU against Openai and Meta. Meta admitted that if they can't steal people's private data it'll ruin their plans :icant:

Hopefully this is just the start and maybe there's a light at the end of the tunnel after all :flutter:

My client works in law and she told me that behind the scenes they are currently scrambling to try and get some legislation written up regarding AI. But she also said that it can take years for it to go through all the right channels and become active. Also that she's seeing things like artists losing court cases now when their art style is directly being copied by AI, because the law doesn't currently support them. Fricken weird times. I feel like we have it too soon and aren't ready for it

Yeah it's definitely a case of the tech outpacing legislation which is funny because when it comes to generative AI like image generators It would not be moving this fast If any of this was done legally. AI is amazing in the right hands but we desperately need to keep the bad actors in check.
