My state coming through! I voted a straight blue ticket earlier today in Fairfax County, VA.

There seems to be a discrepency between the polls and the real vote. Few days ago I saw polls that showed democrats underperforming heavily.

My very unsubstantiated theory is that they still use land lines for much of their polling. Or they call on cell phones from unknown numbers. No one under 40 has a landline nor answers unknown callers. 

So it's mostly older people who respond. Again, just a bad theory. But there it is.

It's not a bad theory at all actually

Polls ALWAYS skew right in this country 'cause younger voters vote blue and are less likely to respond to polls.

They literally only have the 65+ crowd. The younger you go, the farther left the people are.

8 million people are turning 18 in 2024. Gen Z is 41 million strong. If we can just get them to vote consistently, Democrats will never lose.

That's the biggest challenge to the left in this country. It's not right wing insanity, it's young potential voters' apathy
