Bidding war to turn Britney’s memoir into a movie/Tv show/documentary

The problem with these docu/biopic movies is that at the end they either portrait her as the bad problematic crazy person or the hopeless victim, and they always treated her like she's an object and not a person.

I didn't like most of the docu movies that they did on the conservatorship for these reasons

It would be great if the same people who made the Pamela Anderson docu (not the Netflix series) make this one.

There's only two types of docu-style movies or tv-shows that work for me:

- A stylized, fantastical approach like Rocket Man, where it obviously isn't fully truthful.
- An actual documentary with old footage and detailed, factual recountings of important events.

Dramatized re-enactments like in Bohemian Rhapsody (or House of Gucci) almost always leave things to be desired. They're never accurate because they need to the Hollywood mold of storytelling. Actors take creative liberties, screenwriters get their facts twisted (or twist them knowingly) and it always seems like a disservice to the celebrity in question.

For someone like Britney, it's even more important to make sure that this won't turn into a cash grab. Either make sure that it's tasteful or don't do it at all.

They should do this and have it as an interview with Britney, so it's in her own words. I don't know if she'd ever agree to it though.

I'm just going to pretend to be shocked that the entertainment industry did not understand the point of that book

Magic Mike

Pablo Larraín should make a fictional portrait of her. He already said he wanted to, after Jackie and Spencer. It would be good if he focused on a very specific day or two, rather than the ambition that aims to tell the "truth" of an entire life's journey. In fact, there's nothing that lies more than a documentary.

That would be amazing.

If I were her I'd sell to paramount of New Line Cinema and ask at least a billion for it and make them turn it into a biopic like La Vie En Rose or The Rocketman or Walk The Line.
