Well, what's gonna happen to them is what happened to must of us when we grew up and realized 90% of our opinions were not really ours and just our parents' opinions that we had by proxy.

I know people will hate me for this but...

Writing about your children in a book, talking about them on Instagram, blaming them for not being there...

And she also posts these videos where she is dancing and it shows she is clearly unwell. I am not judging her for what she has become but my lord, don't you guys forget this is terrible for her children too. Children don't like a mother who is dancing like a beast on Instagram with weird eyes. A mother who posts rants about employees at a drive through who ask her if she's okay. Yes, it is very sad what happened to Britney. But the woman is unwell and is now harassing her children through social media too. They should all keep it private.

It shows she is clearly fed up of being patronised to do what society thinks is correct to do as a mother, as a woman, as an individual, as a pop star. Children learn to accept that their parents are who they are vice versa. The mother role cannot restrain the other roles just because of the fear "what will the world think". Those chains are bound to be broken one day.

 

At the end of the day it's an autobiography. She chooses to tell her story the way she feels about it. She has every right to do so.

So because their mother is mentally ill, and does weird social media posts, its okay for them to do a hit piece documentary against her? Then leak private videos of her to make her look crazy? then announce to the word they will be cutting their mother off and wont attend the wedding because they think Britney destroyed the family? Then start sharing private information to the press?

And they did all this during the lowest most vulnerable time in her life, and when she needed help and support the most.

At the end of the day, they are young adults, so I wont criticize them, but you cant act like what was done to her is okay because shes mentally ill and posts sexy pictures online.

I agree with you! But it seems as if most people are more supportive of Britney than her children. I think both are terribly damaged by this all. But I do not think you can judge the children. Children either could become codependent or they can rebel/generate hatred. These children are being damaged through the media. And I understand Britney for telling her side of the story, but still, I think that as a mother you could chose not to feed the online outrage. Children are children. An adult should refrain from discussing her children in the media. She can mention indifferences but she is oversharing. She needs help.

i grew up with a very mentally ill mother and yeah, it's a real complicated issue. I think everyone would do best to let these people speak for themselves and not judge or get involved.
