lets not forget that these kids grew up with Britney and they have their own reasons besides being “influenced” by family to be against britney. 
 

I love Britney and I do feel bad seeing how she has been treated by the media and everyone around her. Yet y'all need to acknowledge she has mental health issues and her kids grew up witnessing all of that first hand. 
 

yes she was the victim in many situations growing up. I just know as a parent there must be a lot where she failed at for her kids to turn against her.

I think we have absolutely no basis whats so ever to make assumptions of what kind of parent she was (good or bad)

Now realising that Everytime has a much deeper meaning has led to me seeing this song as even sadder. Many people in the comment section of the video are saying the same. That bridge: "I may have made it rain, please forgive me, my weakness caused your pain and this song's my sorry" is heartbreaking to know it's her speaking to her child that never was. And listening to Justin's Cry Me A River is making me realise how insensitive his lyrics are in contrast. It's unclear if Britney ever actually cheated on him but how he could have lyrics like "the damage is done so I guess I'll be leaving" and "cry me a river, I already cried, I don't wanna cry no more" are so revealing to his true colours. And that he had the gall to use a Britney lookalike in the video and do the creepy thing where he's approaching her as she's in the shower unaware of his presence when we know how much Britney hated the feeling of getting stalked when she was at the height of her fame. What is with Justin's history of mistreating women he gets close to? The whole Britney debacle, feeling up on Kylie without her permission, allowing Janet's career to die and wouldn't shoulder the blame and getting inappropriately close to one of his co-stars while married to Jessica...so much for saying that all his toxic behaviours were in the past. They're a constant over time.

Britney and Justin's relationship was tragic, but it was so long ago. I do not think she wants us to drag him. I am sure they both have moved passed this, its been quite some time.

Joe Jonas attempting to drag Sophie Turner through the mud gives a bit of a parallel. It gives a bit of perspective to how Taylor Swift came in essentially saying not a ****ing chance.
