I don't understand how intelligence and security agencies are still unable to prevent such attacks. Karl 3,586 Posted October 17, 2023 Share Posted October 17, 2023 We have many second and third generation Muslims in the UK who have integrated well and respect our more secular values in regards to human rights/LGBT issues etc, but I do feel like some of the newer migrants expect to be able to live the same way as they did in their countries of origin and I think that is causing a lot of friction in mostly secular countries like France, Scandinavian countries etc. It's a tough one, but ultimately regardless of the book you believe in you shouldn't expect everyone else to follow those same principles when it comes to human rights.
