Amazing!! Hopefully this will start the concert film era again.. By producing their own films they should be able to have control and see the profit as well. 

I'm excited to see the show as I haven't been in Vegas (a shame that Witness was never released as I did go to that one) but I'm more happy to see they're taking everyone's phones away as it looks terrible and doesn't let you enjoy the show sometimes.

Love that concept, a concert date specifically made for recording, not the live aspect (as in.. "should we redo it? was that a good shot?" i have no clue!)

Possibly. To be fair though, you don't need to film the audience to make a tour DVD look good. Madonna's team barely filmed the audience at the confessions tour and the DVD was still strong.
