27monster27 13,509
Lady Gaga on the Canadian Charts>>>>>>> The Fame: The singles actually started to be successful in 2008. Just Dance was top 10 in July and number one before the end of August. Poker Face was top 10 in November and number one in December; the song was also number one for nine non-consecutive weeks. LoveGame and Paparazzi were both top three, and Paparazzi also didn't interfere with Bad Romance. The Fame Monster: Bad Romance was number one, and it spent so many weeks in the top three. Telephone was also in the top 10 with it! Both Telephone and Alejandro also got the top 10 longevity that they deserved (they both "only" got seven weeks each in the US.) Born This Way: Born This Way had the top 10 longevity it deserved to have in the US. Judas had slightly better longevity. You & I was a top 10 hit, which wasn't very common outside of the US! Marry the Night still did miss the top 10, but 11 is very good compared to other countries. ARTPOP: Applause debuted at its peak. Do What U Want was a top three and was (technically) bigger than Applause. Venus was also top 20 as a promo single. Joanne: Admittedly a bit of a let down, but Million Reasons at least had more consistent longevity compared to the US and the UK. Also Perfect Illusion lasted (just a bit) longer. The Cure might have had more longevity too (?). A Star Is Born: Shallow had insane top 10 longevity, and it lasted longer on the chart than it did in the US! I'll Always Remember Us This Way was a top 40 hit too. Chromatica: Stupid Love still underperformed in the top 10, but it did have the longevity it deserved in the US. Rain On Me spent 15 weeks in the top 10, and it was on the chart until November (it would then reappear in 2021 again)! This is what the song deserved in the US. Also, 911 and Free Woman charted! (Though only after the album, not after their releases.) ---- The only let downs are G.U.Y. not charting (outside of the US this unfortunately wasn't uncommon), and Joanne not having any top 10s (again, sadly this was common outside of the US). Some might argue that Hungary or Spain are better, but those charts can behave weirdly so I don't count them here lol. (Venus was a Spanish Number one, and so was Perfect Illusion but it dropped out after only two weeks.) he/him/his

(Venus was a Spanish Number one, and so was Perfect Illusion but it dropped out after only two weeks.) I’m from Hungary. Those Hungarian number ones are on the sales only singles chart. Sales were very low even back then, so it wasn’t very hard to get the number one. I also had a farely popular Hungarian fan page telling Hungarian monsters to buy the songs on iTunes on release week and I guess that helped a bit.
