She stands with Israel while accusing Hamas of spreading terrorism, hate, and fear! But Israel also spreads terrorism, hate, and fear on a bigger scale. She literally is putting Israels flag and praising its government, this is beyond supporting a crisis. I think Madonna has always supported Israel and believes in Zionism, but still wants peace with Palestinians. Shes like the Zionists in Israel that oppose Israel just because its right wing. Oh yes I do know she did those things but Madonna in that post made absolutely no mention to the 413 Palestinians who were killed by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza in a few hours. I was more referring to the fact Madonna has been a vocal supporter of Palestine & Israel in the past but often her public political statements ramble (much like her post 2005 output...) - I see no reason why she would have suddenly abandoned her support for Palestine given the fact she's never backed down from an unpopular opinion. I fully support what she said, but also as a long time Madge fan I was just chiming to the detractors to point out Madonna's been a massive supporter of Palestine & proponent of Israel/Palestine peace & is hardly a "zionist" like some have accused her. But the people here calling her a Zionist aren't the people talking about the original academic sense of the word. There's people on this forum defending the rape & murder of women & children this weekend. Take your energy and go to them. I have zero interest in wading into the Israel/Palestine subject on a pop culture forum. So I won't respond to you any further after this because I don't know how many times I can say I agree with you & then have you tell me why I'm wrong and you're right lol I'm just here to point out that Madonna types out her **** without editing - always has and always will. So people trying to attack her for "taking sides" are wrong, she's spent 20+ years advocating for peace she isn't suddenly going to become a war stooge like some here tried to suggest.
