Doja Cat captures her third top 10 album on the Billboard 200, all notched consecutively, as her new studio set Scarlet starts at No. 4 with nearly 72,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, SEA units comprise 65,000 (equaling 88.35 million on-demand official audio and video streams of the set’s 17 songs), album sales comprise 6,000 (the set was only available as a digital download, CD and in a deluxe boxed set with a T-shirt and CD) and TEA units comprise 1,000. The digital and streaming edition of the album was available in a standard 15-song edition and a deluxe 17-track version.

1. Rod Wave - Nostalgia — 88,000 equivalent album units
2. Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts — 87,500 equivalent album units
3. Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time — 73,000 equivalent album units
4. Doja Cat's Scarlet  — 72,000 equivalent album units
5. Zach Bryan’s Zach Bryan — 66,000 equivalent album units

This confirms Doja is not a major artist anymore.

Paint the Town Red is a tik tok fueled hit by luck

Doja has never really sold albums. Amala has Moo!; Hot Pink has Say So, Streets, and Juicy; Planet Her has Kiss Me More. She's a singles artist just like Miley Cyrus. Scarlet has PTTR which broke the record for highest single day streams and continues to dominate global billboard charts. Most physical sales are gonna come from stans, which she's bastardized and warded off anyways. Half of the people who were planning on buying the album were apparently waiting for vinyl as well. Scarlet debuted with 26 million streams vs. Planet Her's 27 million. I don't think much has changed

I don’t even understand how it got only at 4?

I was expecting it to debut at 1 I mean she’s been killing it on the charts and radio

still she did 109k with Planet Her. That number would’ve given her #1 this week, but she declined 1/3 of that, not a good sign at all.
Also, Planet Her did over 100k without vinyls available too?

I don't think Doja had physicals for this release, which undoubtedly hurt her position.

LOVE Tension at #21 but slightly bummed as I really wanted her to break the top 20!

but not Vinyls - i was looking to buy, but i think she changed the album artwork so last minute that they couldn’t handle the volume needed

vinyl were not manufactured at all because they have rushed the release after PTTR had gained popularity.
CD has this old artwork.
