Regardless of whether she supports it or not, that person bringing this up in the middle of her concert was out of line. That is not the time nor place. 

Not to mention bringing that up to someone who’s Jewish with such hostility has some very thinly veiled anti-Semitic undertones

I feel like her posting a nude pic of her young son is a bigger issue but who am I to tell people what to be mad about

Not in the slightest defending her posting it to social media because that’s messy, but I also to a certain point understand the thoughtlessness. There’s lots of photos of me as a kid in the bath, and my mom naked as a toddler doing something funny in family photo albums and I’ve seen this with other families as well. 

That’s not a photo available for the world to see of course, but I think perhaps that is a fixture of another generation and she perhaps grew up around those photos being innocent and normal (which they are, just not normal to share with strangers) and didn’t think much about it. 

Again, shouldn’t have posted it and should’ve thought about it and the response to the backlash was wrong. But I can see it being genuine thoughtlessness if she grew up with photos of toddlers naked in innocuous situations being a normal fixture of family photo collections like it was for a lot of families of a certain time.

Yeah I think this is a cultural thing. Lots of nude babies at the beach in Italy and nobody bats an eye because it’s not considered sexual or inappropriate over there. Also, there are lots of pictures of me as a naked baby in various photo albums, with twig and berries front and center. It’s sort of embarrassing for me if certain people see it but for my family it was quite normal…so I don’t know.

Now, she’s American and she posted it to Instagram, so I understand it’s not the same scenario. But it would not surprise me one bit if the thought didn’t even cross her mind that it could be inappropriate, because not everybody is of the mindset that nudity is inherently shameful or inappropriate, especially as nudity related to their own children. 
 

tbh all I can think about is the fact that I’ve been a pink fan for over a decade and I had no idea she was Jewish until this thread lol.

All he did was have something on the screen of his phone and she red it without him screaming. He only started shouting when she red it thinking she would support what he said. Then she kicked him out and made fun of him lol

If you are a Jewish person that supports circumcision, people should be allowed to bring it up without being called an anti semite. Im a Muslim, and if someone confronts me about it, I wouldnt call them islamophobic!

You are allowed to criticize religions and cultures, it all depends on how you do it. We cant allow bad things to continue, and create more victims, all in the name of protecting religion and culture.

I'm gonna sound really ignorant here, but why is circumcision such a hot topic for a lot of people? Idk, I'm circumcised and I've never really had a problem with it  I got it when I was older (still a kid, but not when I was a baby) and I didn't really think twice about it. I guess it's because I didn't really have a choice—my parents just decided that my brother and I would get one—but they always told me it was for health reasons. To me, it was just like any other medical procedure.

Is it more about the way in which the procedure is happening? For example, I'm Filipino and when I was circumcised, my dad would tell me about how young boys in the Philippines would get circumcised and it sounded wild compared to just a normal medical procedure. In that case, I can understand being anti-circumcision if the method seems cruel. But the circumcision itself seems...fine? Idk.
