Tbh in my mid30s I couldn't care less about her ad agenda or her Instagram. I like her music, I like her art, I am not bothering myself with how much she engages with her fans. She is a good sport at her field and I admire her. She grew up, we grew up, life caught us. Not too much to overthink here.

 

10 years ago I remember myself obsessing over whether she'll get a number 1 single, how many copies will she sell etc. etc. Nowadays it's more like "You go girl, I hope you score well!" the way a parent would wave his 18yo child out of his care. That happens whenever she releases a song/album/movie. It's not bad, it's a healthy way to continue your path admiring yet not obsessing an artist that spoke to your heart.

i wont lie i wish she was more hungry for the fame and relevance, but at the end of the day, she has to do whats best for herself. she has a chronic illness and shes doing the best she can. 

of course i wish she released videos and performed every week like BTW, but people grow up and when youre older i think you realize whats important in life and that fame is not one of those things, she does thing the way she wants to and shes not obsessed with numbers anymore. her legacy will speak for itself and i truly think she will go down as one of the greatest.

And like I said, these conversations happen like clockwork. No one is gonna be saying this whenever she releases new music or when promo starts for Joker 2. And then when those things eventually end, these conversations will come back again. They aren't happening more or less frequently than they were before.

No one says that when she releases stuff cause that's the point, she's releasing stuff and stops the ads for a few days. That's basically all we want, more meaningful content.

I suggest you go check her instagram page. Notice how the ads have increased since 2021. We don't like to complain but there's a reason if we do. Maybe you just don't mind them but i hate to see her turn into an annoying influencer

Yeah, she was definitely more distant and there was almost a complete lack of interaction. The fact that people don't want to admit that is just weird to me. Like they're scared to know she's changed

Yes she is not interested in being active on social media and she’s probably tired and not rushing to release music or stuff like that .  She did a LOT in 15 years and she wants to rest and relax and enjoy her freedom.
