The Rolling Stones haven’t cracked the top ten in over 40 years, so it would truely be a miracle

Why hasn't Gaga announced the song? Why hasn't she posted the cover? I'd be more hyped if this news was coming from Gaga herself.

i dont think its really about her - its more about the stones, i dont think she wants to steal their spotlight or maybe shes just busy

I’m so excited!! :nooo: I’m wondering if that supposed to be Gaga’s hand on the cover? I’m guessing it represents her and then obviously the lips is the Rolling Stones

the hand is clearly saying 'rain on me' :enigma:

People that call Joanne country had never listened to a country song.

Joanne has like 2-3 country influenced songs max :huntyga:

I’d say Joanne had a mix of country, classic rock(70’s in particular), singer-songwriter, folk, and a dash of gospel. It was still very much a pop record though. I’d say Joanne, John Wayne, Sinner’s Prayer, and Million Reasons had light country influences to them. Ignoring pop as it is present throughout each song here’s the influences, I’d say specifically:

- Diamond Heart- Classic Rock felt very Heart inspired.

- A-Yo- Pop with a dash of country influences and a bit more stripped back than her usual pop records.

- Perfect Illusion- Pop Rock. Probably closest to her usual pop records.

- Dancing in Circles- very dance pop kinda reminded me a bit of Abba with a little more instrumentals and less electronic

- John Wayne- Very classic rock and Country inspired

- Joanne- Folk, Country and classic rock. Felt very Fleetwood Mac inspired

- Million Reasons- bit more country, singer-songwriter and splashes of gospel.

- Sinners Prayer- more country and folk inspired with a bit of perhaps Eagles inspiration.

- Come To Mama- very classic rock inspired with some slight gospel elements.

- Hey Girl- Classic 70’s rock inspired felt a bit like something Elton would do in terms of melody and instrumentals.

- Angel Down- Singer-Songwriter influence mostly felt with a touch of gospel in some areas.

- Grigio Girls- pop with a slight southern twang.

- Just Another Day- felt like a Beatles song with a dash of Elton and some standard singer-songwriter elements. Kinda liked it more than a number of the tracks on the album and am surprised she left it as a bonus track.

Gagaism

I don’t know why but all this song news related are giving me “November Rain” by Guns and Roses vibes, which is one of the best songs ever made imo.
I’m not trying to make any comparison, I mean, the song is not even released yet of course but imagine if we get something on that level of production… that would be insane

I love that nowadays fans don’t see artists like Tony Bennett or The Rolling Stones as pop artists, but back in their day they were the epitome of pop :ladyhaha:

Yes, I was mocking obsessed stans who judge her because she's collabing with a band and think she only has to make hits with her own music

JINNOCIDE

Is the song still expected to come out this Friday?

We're so used to Gaga's featuring in songs releases being delayed/canceled I'm not sure what to expect lol
