It’s my favourite Gaga album and favourite album of all time. This album has 0 skips and blends different music genre together seamlessly. All this talk about Gaga music just makes me want more though :messga:

Her absolute best body of work and a lyrical and musical masterpiece imo. It was bold, a statement, an art piece and so in your face, referencial and sexual...it was everything 15yr old me needed to come out, accept myself and start the better part of my life. :kara:

This album will forever have a special place not only in my heart, but in my life. Gaga really did that. And I am beyond thankful that I was alive and at exactly the right point in my life, when it was released, to appreaciate it to its full extend. BTW is and will forever be part of my life.

It's my favorite album of all time, a masterpiece! It's bold, unique, empowering, has great diversity of sounds, amazing vocals etc...

She'll never top it tbh.

I can't even say how many times I felt down and listened to the album and felt unstoppable after listening it. From 2012 to like 2015 I listened to it every single day when going to sleep and I could never get bored of it.

It's just brilliant.

I miss the passion she had when she made this. ALL the songs sound passionate and ambitious, thats what makes them great. Now if only the singles run went like this:

1. Marry The Night (February 2011) #1

2. Born This Way (April 2011) #1

-You And I (promo) #5

{Album Release} May 2011

3. The Edge of Glory (August 2011) #1

4. Judas (December 2011) #15

5. Hair (March 2012) #12

6. Heavy Metal Lover (July 2012) #69:fan:

Born This Way sounds better today than on release.

My thoughts exactly!

BTW is like a great bottle of red wine, it just gets better and better each year passes.

I think it really benefited from having its own sound. It was unlike the previous Gaga records or anything that was out there at the time so it doesn't feel overdone or dated.

Spoiler

This might be a controversial opinion but ARTPOP is like the opposite of that. The Zedd stuff was just everywhere at the time, and that particular EDM sound is not something I revisit a lot.

Her best! I've been listening to this album every day since it came out and I'm not tired of it.

Top 5: Scheiße, Heavy Metal Lover, Government Hooker, Marry The Night and Electric Chapel.

The whole BTW album sounds fresher than it did when it first released. Gaga did THAT :vegas:

Yesterday I was listening to Americano and Highway Unicorn, they wasn’t my favourites to begin with but wow they have grown on me so much since! And FOHL even!
