But also, the UAE has alot of foreigners living here with many tourists. Its still really odd having this award show here! Im guessing they are losing money making these big events, but the UAE is offering them big money? The UAE wants its future main source of income to be tourism, that's probably why they are investing money in award shows like this, and in ultra lux, futuristic cities, sports etc... If it is the main show, it is strange but also new for them to branch out of New York Or LA, where events like these usually happened.
