Gurl, yes it is.
YT got 8K resolution now. And many high ends phones also make their devices can record in that resolution. minimum standards today is 720p for people with slow internet.

I think that Nintendo is far ahead on development of their next console. But the switch is selling so well they’re likely gonna wait a year or two for it to become the best selling console of all time.

The list of leak starting from last year:

Factories in China have already said they are going to mass product a new hardware for Nintendo next year during investors' meeting

Nvidia got hacked and the new processor for the NX2 (NX was the first switch) got leaked

Sharp (and Samsung I believe) talked about the sale of a large number of LCD screens for a new console from a japanese company

There was a leak this spring about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet planning with the release of a next gen update coming along "DLC 2" 

Same for TotK

Nintendo started hiring developers specialized in next gen graphic engine and retrocompatibility 

Ubisoft and Activision and Microsoft talking about the Switch 2 during the trials 

It's gonna be for next year

Nintendo left the factories in China and moved to Taiwan and Vietnam in early 2020

I've heard either a Switch 2 or Switch Pro model as the successor. They struck gold with this model and the core IP's have had massive success with their entries (Super Mario Odyssey, Metroid Dread, Legend of Zelda--all of em really). I doubt it'll be something brand new such as evolving from say the Gamecube to the Wii, so I agree it'll be like a Switch 2/Pro approach if anything.

Not anymore, from mid 2019 many companies left China, Nintendo did it gradually until they left completely

BEGGING for backwards compatibility, so I can finish Rune Factory 5 and Shin Megami Tensei V with stable framerates  I had to put both of those games down and they're the reasons I even got a Switch
