hoeslay 4,150 Posted August 18, 2023 Share Posted August 18, 2023 The first release of this song was actually by This Is Falling in 2019. I prefer this version MUCH more than Addison's. It's a metal/pop-punk rendition which still keeps a lot of the pop feel. And it keeps the original lyrics, too. I don't even really listen to metal, but this version feels a lot more fitting to the concept and like a solid re-imagining of the song as compared to Addison's which just sounds like a different demo of the original.
