I recently downloaded the free trial for the new Dragon Ball Z game, out of sheer boredom. I remember watching it back in 2002 but I’m not familiar which most of the characters. I was actually impressed with the story and graphics and couldn’t stop playing!

Another example is Animal Crossing- I saw my friend play the original GC version and never understood the point. I got new horizons when I was furloughed from my job back in March 2020 and was addicted ever since!

what game did you not think you’d actually end up liking?

Roguelike/Roguelite

I always saw them as too difficult games and like "why should I repeat the same thing over and over for such a small reward and progress" but then I played Hades and Dead Cells and I was like "ok this is f-cking amazing"

One genre that I find myself running away from for many years if any first person game, I just don't like when I don't have control on a character, I guess I'm missing so many good games like Bioshock, DOOM 2016 and many other Bethesda games.

I could play the moderator, I can ban you, die sis.

I realize that when it comes to video games, I really don't get out of my comfort zone. But one example I have is Little Nightmares, it's a bit of a platform game, which I don't like, but this one has more "depth" and isn't 2-dimensional. I really got invested and finished it quickly.
